Our visit to the National Wine Fair FENAVIN 2022 to present the project VIDARTIS

At Julián Soler we are very grateful and excited for the great interest that our innovative project VIDARTIS has aroused, presented at the Julián Soler stand at FENAVIN. The National Wine Fair has been the ideal scenario to present this Julián Soler’s project framed within CSR and Innovation.

We thank all the people who visited us on May 10, 11 and 12, the authorities and the media for their attention and His Majesty King Felipe VI for his interest.

His Majesty the King’s interest in the VIDARTIS project.

The Julián Soler stand has been a live showcase to learn about the potential of grape dye as art. The artist Ramón Freire was painting live when we received the visit of His Majesty King Felipe VI interested in the project.

Other authorities have also visited Julián Soler’s stand, such as the regional vice-president, José Luis Martínez Guijarro, the president of the Provincial Council, Álvaro Martínez Chana; the delegate of the Junta in Cuenca, María Ángeles Martínez; and the sub-delegate of the Government in Cuenca, Mari Luz Fernández.

The Julián Soler stand at FENAVIN was a great success, with the work of art created live with our grape juice concentrate used as a pigment.

Exhibition of the VIDARTIS project with 24 works of art painted with grape juice concentrates at the Wine Gallery.

During the 3 days of the Fair, the Wine Gallery of FENAVIN hosted our exhibition VIDARTIS with 24 pieces in which grape juice has been used as an artistic pigment.

Julian Soler’s VIDARTIS project arises in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and innovation. This initiative is led by Ana Soler, agricultural engineer and Quality Director of the company. These 24 works created by artists from Castilla-La Mancha have been worked with the raw material of red grapes and white grape juice concentrate. Varieties such as Bobal or Garnacha Tintorera have been used.

Once the fair and the exhibition are over, all the exhibited works can be purchased, even they can be adapted in format and size according to the needs of each client. The money raised will be invested in the VIDARTIS project to continue researching new coloring pigments for art, since Julian Soler’s main line of business is to market white and red grape juice concentrates in the 5 continents.

Julia Otero and RNE interview with Ana Soler.

Both the program Julia en la Onda, which was broadcasting live from FENAVIN, and Radio Nacional de España, among other media, showed great interest and interviewed Ana Soler to talk about the Vidartis project and how the idea of exploring and giving a different application to the grape juice concentrate and the coloring power of the Garnacha Tintorera grape variety came about.

Ana Soler’s dress made with grape juice concentrate.

Ana Soler has gone further to present this innovative project and has also begun to explore the application of grape juice concentrates in fashion.

The suit jacket she wore at FENAVIN was dyed with grape juice concentrate, specifically with Garnacha Tintorera grape juice with high coloring power. This great model, signed by the couturier Pascual Tornero, has taken a long process but the punctual initiative for the occasion has been worth it. The dress simulates the vine shoot in autumn on one of the shoulders, made with natural silk organza dyed with grape juice concentrate.
